Choosing a copier brand on the Gold Coast
There is no single best copier brand, because every major maker builds a sound machine. What separates them is how the screen feels to your staff, what each page costs, the finishing on offer and who will look after the machine. You can weigh all of that up here.
- Ten makers covered
- New from OKI, Kyocera, HP, Toshiba, Lexmark
- Secondhand from every major maker
- Service from the team that sold it

Where Xerox, Lanier, Brother and Epson fit
Before 2021, the Xerox copiers on the Australian market were Fuji Xerox machines, and the Fujifilm name has since taken over that line (our Fuji Xerox page has the detail). That means the Xerox machines working in Gold Coast offices today are Fuji Xerox models, which we offer secondhand. Lexmark, a brand we supply new, joined Xerox in 2025.
Lanier is another name you may come across. Lanier copiers are built by Ricoh, and the newer ones share the model number of the matching Ricoh, so a Lanier IM C3000 is a Ricoh IM C3000. Our Ricoh page explains how to find the Ricoh that matches yours.
Brother and Epson make A3 machines too, but they are mostly printers meant for the odd A3 job. They are not the office copiers we supply and look after. Ready to move on from one? The natural step up is an office multifunction printer or a full A3 copier, so have a look at A3 copiers and printers and our office printers.
Let us suggest a maker for the way you print
Describe the work the machine has to do, or name the model you want. We will come back with two or three that suit, each priced in writing, and the decision stays with you.
Easier by phone? Ring (07) 5631 9266, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Torn between brands?
Describe a normal week of printing and we will point you to a maker and a model. Every Gold Coast enquiry gets an answer the same business day it arrives.
A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.
Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.
The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.
Questions about the makers
Is one copier brand better than the rest?
Not across the board. All the big makers build sound machines for offices. For your business, the deciding points are your monthly volume, how easily your staff get along with the screen, what each page costs to print, and having service close by.
Kyocera, Toshiba or HP: which should I pick?
All three are dependable, and we supply all three new. Kyocera's long life parts help keep running costs steady, Toshiba keeps one screen layout across its range, and HP suits businesses already used to HP printers and software. We can set them side by side for you.
Do you service every make?
Every machine we supply is serviced by us, whatever the badge. We do not sell a machine we cannot service.
