Chapter 1 of 6From fault to fixed: a service call
From fault to fixed: a service call: Ring or send a request. When the copier acts up, ring us or send a request online. We note the machine, the fault and your details, then log the call.; Start with the code. Most faults put a code up on the screen. Give us that code and the right parts go in the van.; On the road to you. Booked, and a technician sets out. With the parts that code calls for.; Sorted on the spot. Traced and put right in place. Worn parts your agreement covers are changed at no added cost.; Checked and cleaned. A test page each for copy, print and scan. And a clean before the technician packs up.; On file, and covered. Every visit goes on your machine's file, so its history builds up. If it fails within the term, the replacement warranty steps in.
What happens

Once you have signed

  1. Delivery day

We ask about the lift, the stairs and where to park beforehand, then bring the machine in and take every scrap of packaging away.

  2. Installation

Connected to your network so each computer can print to it, with scanning set up to send to email addresses and network folders.

  3. Showing your team

We walk your staff through the jobs they will do at the machine day to day, until they are comfortable with it.

  4. Looking after it

Toner, parts and repairs paid through one cost per page, for the length of the agreement.

What the service agreement takes care of

  • Toner whenever you order it. Each toner order carries a delivery charge.
  • Parts and repairs, with the technician's visit included.
  • Meter readings every month, sent in automatically by machines that are able to.
  • If the machine fails at any point in the term, it is replaced under the replacement warranty, new or secondhand, whether it is rented, leased, financed or bought outright.

Nothing is hidden in fine print. Everything included appears in the agreement in plain words, and we take you through it before anything is signed.

One team sells it, installs it and fixes it.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

When the machine stops working

Call (07) 5631 9266 or send the form with the model and what it is doing. A good share of faults can be sorted over the phone, and when one cannot, we book a technician to come out to you.

Toner comes included on a service agreement, and each order attracts a delivery charge. The best time to order is when the machine first warns that it is low, rather than once it has run dry.

Already with us? Request service or reorder toner online using the code printed on the sticker on your machine.

Asked often

Service agreements: the usual questions

What is included in a copier service agreement?

Three things: toner, parts and repairs, charged by the page at one rate for black and another for colour. Everything it includes is listed in the agreement itself.

Is a maintenance agreement something different?

People use both names for the same agreement: one cost per page that pays for the toner, the parts and the repairs on a machine we supply, for the length of the term.

Can you look after a copier we bought somewhere else?

We concentrate on machines we have supplied ourselves, since those are the ones we know inside out. If you have another machine you want serviced, ask, and you will get an honest yes or no.

And if the machine is beyond repair?

Then it gets replaced, provided it is on our service agreement. The replacement warranty lasts the whole term, so month two and month fifty are treated the same.
