Second hand and used copiers on the Gold Coast

Five things to check before buying a used photocopier

• The meter. The page count is the best guide to how much life a machine has used. Get the figure on paper.
• Supplies. Make sure toner and parts are still made for the model. Once they dry up, the machine is worth little more than scrap.
• Servicing. Every copier needs a technician sooner or later. One that nobody will look after costs more in the long run.
• What is fitted. Paper drawers, a finisher, the document feeder, fax and scanning.
• Getting it in. Most floor standing copiers come in at more than 80 kilograms. Moving one safely and setting it up on your network is a proper job, especially in a high rise with a shared lift.

What we will sell, and what we will not

If we cannot service a machine, we do not sell it. A model coming to the end of its support life is something we will flag, and we will suggest a better choice.

Used works well for a business with light to moderate printing that still wants the reach of a full A3 machine. Heavier users tend to come out ahead with a refurbished copier, because it has more life left in it.

Used A3 copiers on the Coast

Much of the used market here is A3 colour machines returned at the end of office leases, from Canon, Ricoh, Sharp, Konica Minolta, Toshiba, Kyocera and others. For a business with modest volumes, a used A3 copier brings both A3 and colour within reach for a small outlay.

Would you rather pay over time? A refurbished A3 machine on rental avoids a lump sum altogether. Cheap A3 copiers puts the two options next to each other.

Ex lease machines with low meters

Plenty of used copiers are ex lease, returned when a business reached the end of its contract. A few have done remarkably little work, having spent years in a quiet back office. We will give you the meter reading on any machine you ask about.
