For a team that copies, prints and scans in colour, and sometimes reaches for A3, here is a machine worth weighing up. One to consider is the Ricoh MP C3504ex, an A3 colour photocopier that Ricoh rates at 35 pages a minute. Secondhand, it comes renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one, and you have its page count in writing before you sign.
Maker's own photoRicoh placed the MP C3504ex in its MP C3004ex to C3504ex range, as the model that prints 35 pages a minute. The only other model in that family is the MP C3004ex, rated 30 pages a minute. According to Ricoh, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 110 images a minute, has room for 1,200 sheets (or 4,700 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. In Ricoh's range it has given way to the IM C3500.
An A3 colour photocopier for Gold Coast workplaces, at 35 pages a minute, in three secondhand grades.
As published by the maker. Each one is checked over, and you see its page count before you commit.
It makes most sense for an office of somewhere between five and fifteen staff. The MP C3004ex, at 30 pages a minute, is the gentler option in the family.
A secondhand MP C3504ex comes in one of three grades. Renewed is the top grade, with more parts replaced so it looks and runs close to new, and it costs more than refurbished. Refurbished, the most popular, is cleaned, serviced and tested, with its worn parts replaced. Used is checked and working with less work done, for the lowest outlay. Rental, a lease or finance can run for as long as 60 months if the machine's age allows, or you can buy outright. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team are in the price.
Bought outright without a service agreement, its warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you in writing what it is before the sale. With a service agreement, it is replaced if it fails, for the whole term. The lowest weekly rental, from $15 a week plus GST, is for selected machines, subject to approval.
Every one has a page of the maker's specifications. Ask about any and we will check what is available.
Describe the work the machine has to do, or name the model you want. We will come back with two or three that suit, each priced in writing, and the decision stays with you.

Tell us a little about your business. The reply, in writing, says if one is on hand, how many pages it has printed and what it costs. Every Gold Coast enquiry gets an answer the same business day it arrives.
Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.
The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.
Not any more: the IM C3500 took over in Ricoh's range. A secondhand one from us is checked, graded and serviced by our own team.
Yes: the page count. We put it in writing before you commit, and it is a truer guide to wear than age alone.
It comes down to your workload. At 35 pages a minute against 30, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.
Usually, yes, subject to approval, for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months. Weekly rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST; the machine is serviced throughout. Rental is not hire, so there is no short booking to arrange. Ask about this model and we will put the figures in writing for you.
