The model itself

Lexmark placed the CX951se (released 2024) in its CX95x series, as the model that prints 35 pages a minute. Lexmark built the same family at other speeds too: CX950se (25), CX952se (45) and CX953se (55), in pages a minute. According to Lexmark, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 100 images a minute, has room for 700 sheets (or 4,750 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. Lexmark Australia still has it in the current lineup.

The right size of business

It makes most sense for an office of somewhere between five and fifteen staff. Plan on no more than 20,000 pages a month, which is the volume Lexmark recommends. Expecting more staff? The same family's CX952se lifts the speed to 45 pages a minute. For a quieter office, the CX950se runs at 25.

New, delivered and set up

Ordered new, the CX951se reaches your business with the maker's warranty and with delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team already in the price. Most machines are installed within about a week of signing; if this one has to be ordered in, you hear the timing before you sign.

Most of our customers rent: a business agreement running three to five years, with one regular payment, the machine serviced throughout, and the choice at the end to upgrade or hand it back. The lowest rental, from $15 a week plus GST, applies to selected machines; finance is subject to approval. A lease or other finance can be arranged, or you can buy outright.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.
