The model itself

Of the speeds in Kyocera's TASKalfa MZ7001ci series, the TASKalfa MZ3501ci (first released in 2025) is the one that does 35 pages a minute. Its stablemates, each with its pages a minute: TASKalfa MZ2501ci (25), TASKalfa MZ4001ci (40), TASKalfa MZ5001ci (50), TASKalfa MZ6001ci (60) and TASKalfa MZ7001ci (70). According to Kyocera, it needs the optional single pass document feeder to scan at its top speed of 200 images a minute, has room for 1,150 sheets (or 7,150 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. As a current model in this country, it can be ordered new.

The right size of business

As a rough guide, it is sized for an office of somewhere between five and fifteen staff. If the business is growing, the TASKalfa MZ4001ci gives you 40 pages a minute in the same family. For a quieter office, the TASKalfa MZ2501ci runs at 25.

A new TASKalfa MZ3501ci from us carries Kyocera's own warranty, and delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team are covered in the price. We deliver from Ormeau and Yatala down to Coolangatta and Tweed Heads, and in the high rise towers of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach we fit delivery around the building's lift and loading bay bookings.

You can pay outright or rent it, and selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST, with every rental subject to approval. Rental and hire are different things: rental here is a business agreement running three to five years. Put the machine on our service agreement and, if it fails, we replace it for the whole term.
