What the numbers on a Sharp mean

The opening digits of a Sharp model are its speed, so an MX 3071 prints 30 pages a minute and its sibling the MX 4071 prints 40. Sharp ran a simpler line alongside a better equipped one, which means two machines of the same speed may not have the same features, so it pays to ask what each one comes with. Mono machines carry an M, as in the MX M3071. The BP series, the BP 50C31 among them, came after.

How a Sharp gets to your office

Sharp machines come to us secondhand, so we offer them renewed, refurbished and used. If you would rather have new, we can set one beside a new OKI, Kyocera, HP, Toshiba or Lexmark and talk you through the difference. Either way, the same team delivers it, installs it on your network and services it afterwards, because we do not sell a machine we cannot service. Would you rather not buy? Rent a copier from $15 a week plus GST. Finance subject to approval. The lowest weekly figure applies to selected machines.
