What cheap actually means with a copier
What you pay for the machine itself is the smaller part of the story. Across a three year agreement, the running costs, toner, parts, repairs and the charge on every page, tend to outweigh it. A low price with dear pages is not a saving.
When you weigh up offers, line up three things: what the machine costs to buy or rent, what each mono and colour page costs, and exactly what those page charges cover. Every quote from us sets out all three on paper.
Watch the page rate; that is where a cheap copier gets expensive.
Three ways to keep the cost down
- Put a refurbished A3 on rental. No lump sum to find, the servicing sits inside the agreement, and you can move to a newer machine when the term is up. From $15 a week plus GST on selected machines.

- Default to black and white. A mono page costs far less to run than a colour one, so save colour for when it counts.

What is the lowest cost way into an A3 copier?
There are two: buy a used A3 machine outright, or put a refurbished one on rental. We will price both for you, so you can see them next to each other.
Is a budget copier going to be unreliable?
It does not have to be. Any copier needs regular servicing, and a low cost machine that is properly looked after will serve you better than one nobody is looking after.
Can I buy a budget photocopier outright?
Yes. A used machine bought outright means the smallest outlay, and refurbished machines rent from $15 a week plus GST on selected models.
Are there cheap copy machines in A4?
