Secondhand Ricoh IM C2000 on the Gold Coast

Small teams that need A3 colour now and then, but not a fast machine, are well served by the Ricoh IM C2000. It prints 20 pages a minute and is the first step in Ricoh's IM C range of 2019. Secondhand ones come through to us often, refurbished or used, and we service each one we supply.

  • Up to 20 pages a minute on A4
  • Copies, prints and scans, A3 colour
  • Refurbished or used
  • Replacement warranty with our service agreement

In plain terms

The IM C2000 is where Ricoh's IM C range begins. That range, launched in 2019, was the first to carry the IM name and took over from Ricoh's MP colour copiers. It copies, prints and scans in colour up to A3, and everything is run from Ricoh's Smart Operation Panel.

Its twin is the IM C2500: same body, same panel, five more pages a minute. Above it, for busier offices, the range carries on with the IM C3000 and IM C3500, and higher again, the IM C4500 and IM C6000.

A good match for a small team that prints a little each day.

The right size of business

Ten people or fewer, the odd A3 job and modest colour volumes: that is the IM C2000's territory. For a bigger team, step up to the IM C3500 (35 pages a minute), or the IM C2500 (25) if the need is only a little more.

Secondhand grades and how to pay

Ask us for the IM C2000 refurbished or used, and each machine comes checked, with its page count in writing before anything is signed. Buy it outright, or rent, lease or finance it over a term the machine's age decides, as long as 60 months on a younger one. Delivery, network setup and a run through for your team are part of the price anywhere from Ormeau to Tweed Heads, with scanning set up as well on a machine that scans.

With our service agreement in place, the replacement warranty lasts the whole term: if the machine fails, we replace it. The lowest rental, from $15 a week plus GST, applies to selected machines; any finance needs approval, and when a rental ends you upgrade or hand the machine back.

Four things to ask about a secondhand machine

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Ricoh IM C2000: questions and answers

Is a secondhand Ricoh IM C2000 worth it?

Yes, if your office is small and your colour printing is modest. It opens the range Ricoh brought out in 2019 to replace its MP colour copiers. On any secondhand machine, the two numbers to ask for are the page count and the service record, and we give you both in writing.

How do I choose between the IM C2000 and IM C2500?

The IM C2500 is the same machine five pages a minute quicker, 25 against 20. Two or three extra people printing make it worth having; if your team is not growing, the IM C2000 does the work for a smaller outlay.

Which model came after the IM C2000?

The IM C2010, part of the IM C range Ricoh brought out in 2023.

Is rental possible on a refurbished IM C2000?

Yes, subject to approval, over a term the machine's age decides, up to 60 months. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
