In plain terms

Within Ricoh's IM C2000 to C6000 range, the IM C6000 (released 2019) is the option at 60 pages a minute. Ricoh built the same family at other speeds too: IM C2500 (25), IM C3000 (30), IM C3500 (35) and IM C4500 (45), in pages a minute. Useful to know: it needs the optional single pass document feeder to scan at its top speed of 120 images a minute, has room for 1,200 sheets (or 4,700 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. Ricoh has since brought out the IM C6010 to replace it.

The right size of business

As a rough guide, it is sized for thirty or more people, or a print room that runs much of the day. If your team prints less, compare it with the IM C4500, which manages 45 pages a minute.

How we supply it secondhand

Choose a renewed IM C6000 if you want one that runs close to new, refurbished for the balance most customers pick, or used to keep the outlay down. Every unit is checked first, with the page count in writing. Pay outright, or rent, lease or finance it over a term that can reach 60 months on a younger machine. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team come with it, wherever you are on the Coast.

A secondhand machine on our service agreement has the same replacement warranty as a new one: if it fails, we replace it, for the full term. Approved rentals on the selected machines that qualify are priced from $15 a week plus GST.

Four things to ask about a secondhand machine

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Common queries on the Ricoh IM C6000

Is a new IM C6000 still available?

No. Its replacement from Ricoh is the IM C6010, so secondhand is now the way to get one, and every one we sell, we can service.

How many pages will a secondhand IM C6000 have done?

Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.

Is the IM C4500 a better choice than the IM C6000?

It comes down to your workload. At 60 pages a minute against 45, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.

Can my business rent the IM C6000?

Yes, subject to approval. Rental is one regular payment under a business agreement running for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months, and at the end you upgrade to a newer machine or hand it back. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
