What we mean by ex demo
We only call a machine ex demo if demonstrations were nearly all it ever did. Every one is serviced and checked over, and we give you its page count before you make up your mind.
They do not come through often, and the good ones are spoken for quickly. Tell us the model you are after and we will get in touch when one becomes available.
When one comes in, it is a current model with very little use.
Choosing between ex demo and refurbished
Both get you a machine close to new for less than new, and renewed machines turn up far more regularly than ex demo ones. A refurbished machine will normally be a slightly older model that has done more work, and it comes in lower again. Set on one particular model? Ex demo may be the way. Watching the budget first? Refurbished usually wins.

How many pages does an ex demo copier usually have on it?
That depends on how busy its demonstration life was. We read the meter on each one and give you the number before you commit.
Can an ex demo copier go on rental?
Yes. It rents on the same basis as a new or refurbished machine; ask about the one you like and the weekly cost comes to you in writing.
Does an ex demo machine get the same servicing as new?
It does. Once it is on our service agreement, it is covered for toner, parts and repairs exactly as a new machine is.
