Gold Coast Copiers · New machine
01 · It starts on paper

We shortlist two or three machines for how you print.

Chapter 1 of 6A new copier, from signing to running
A new copier, from signing to running: It starts on paper. We shortlist two or three machines for how you print. Their figures and terms come to you in writing.; Arriving on site. Most machines go in within about a week of signing. Lifts, stairs and loading bays checked; packaging taken away.; Joined to the network. Linked to your office network. Every computer that prints is set to find it.; Scanning sorted. Scanning to email and to folders, tested. Ready the day it goes in.; A walk through for staff. Your staff learn the screen and the jobs they do daily. Copying, scanning, two sided printing, toner changes.; Cared for, start to finish. The people who put it in look after it for the term. On rental, upgrade at the end of the term.

How buying a copier with us works

It starts with a short conversation. We ask who prints, about how many pages leave the machine in a month, and whether A3 or colour comes into it. You then get a shortlist of machines that suit, each priced in writing with its running costs shown.

Once you choose, we deliver the machine, put it on your network, set scanning up to send to email and shared folders, and take your staff through the functions they will use every day. Allow about a week from signing for most installations.

From there the service agreement handles the running: toner, parts and repairs, all inside a fixed charge per page. From your side, the one variable is how much you print.

Ask about any machine and you get the figure to buy it and, where it suits, to rent it.

Buying outright, or spreading the cost

Paying for the machine in one go is the simple route. Most of our customers rent, though: one regular payment, the machine serviced throughout, and a newer model when the term is up. Rental starts from $15 a week plus GST.

If a lease or some other kind of finance sits better with your accountant, we can arrange that as well. Compare every way to pay.

Copier sales on the Gold Coast

Copier, copy machine, photocopy machine: whichever name you use, every one we sell is a machine we can install and look after on the Coast. That follows from a rule we never bend: we do not sell a machine we cannot service.

For new photocopiers, we supply HP, Kyocera, Lexmark, OKI and Toshiba. Secondhand machines come in three grades: renewed copiers, the top grade and nearest to new; refurbished photocopiers, which most of our customers choose; and used and second hand copiers, where the outlay is lowest. Every so often ex demo copiers come through as well.

Most of the office machines we place are A3 copiers, since they hold more paper and run faster. Keeping a close eye on cost? Have a look at cheap A3 copiers. If no one in the office prints A3, an office printer could do the job. And if there is an old machine to replace, trade it in and we take its trade in price off the new machine.

Asked often

What owners ask before buying a copier

Why don't the machines show a price?

Two machines of the same model can differ a good deal: one has more pages on it, another has a finisher fitted, and the right figure also shifts with the way you pay. So ask about the one you like, and you will get both the purchase price and the regular payment, in writing.

Are these machines sitting in stock?

Think of them as a guide to what tends to come through, rather than a stock list. Ask, and we will let you know what is on hand this week, along with each machine's page count.

Does the price include delivery and setup?

Yes. We bring it, connect it to your network, set up scanning and spend time with your team on how to use it, and none of that is charged on top.

What warranty do I get if I pay outright?

If it goes on our service agreement, new or secondhand, the replacement warranty covers it for the whole term. Buy a machine outright and leave it off a service agreement, and its warranty depends on the machine itself. We put that warranty in writing for you before any sale goes ahead.

Can I just pay for a copier in full?

Certainly. Ask about any machine and we will send the outright price in writing, with a rental figure next to it if that machine can be rented.

What sort of copy machine suits a small office?

For a small team, usually an A4 multifunction printer that lives on a desk or bench. Some small offices are better served by a compact A3 machine on a cabinet. Give us your head count and a rough page count and we will narrow it down.

Do you only sell A3 copiers?

No. Plenty of businesses never touch A3, and for them an A4 multifunction printer is usually the sensible choice. See office printers.
