The model itself

HP placed the Color LaserJet Managed MFP E78630 (a 2022 model) in its Color LaserJet Managed MFP E786 series, as the model that prints 30 pages a minute. Its stablemates, each with its pages a minute: E78625 (25) and E78635 (35). From the maker's own figures, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 90 images a minute, has room for 1,140 sheets (or 3,140 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. As a current model in this country, it can be ordered new.

Is it the right fit for your team?

It makes most sense for an office of somewhere between five and fifteen staff. HP's guide is to keep it under 20,000 pages a month. For more people on the one machine, look at the Color LaserJet Managed MFP E78635, the next step up at 35 pages a minute. For a quieter office, the Color LaserJet Managed MFP E78625 runs at 25.

How we supply it new

Buy it new and the maker's warranty applies, which on a new machine usually means 12 months on the hardware, though not on consumables. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team sit inside the price.

Most of our customers rent: a business agreement running three to five years, with one regular payment, the machine serviced throughout, and the choice at the end to upgrade or hand it back. The lowest rental, from $15 a week plus GST, applies to selected machines; finance is subject to approval. A lease or other finance can be arranged, or you can buy outright.
