The model itself

Of the speeds in Kyocera's ECOSYS MA A4 mono range, the ECOSYS MA4000fx is the one that does 40 pages a minute. Its stablemates, each with its pages a minute: ECOSYS MA3501wfx (35), ECOSYS MA4000x (40), ECOSYS MA4000wifx (40), ECOSYS MA4500fx (45), ECOSYS MA4500ifx (45), ECOSYS MA5500ifx (55) and ECOSYS MA6000ifx (60). According to Kyocera, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 40 images a minute and has room for 350 sheets (or 850 with extra paper options). As a current model in this country, it can be ordered new.

The right size of business

Its natural home: a team of up to ten or so that rarely, if ever, needs A3. Kyocera's guide is to keep it under 2,000 pages a month. For more people on the one machine, look at the ECOSYS MA4500fx, the next step up at 45 pages a minute. For a quieter office, the ECOSYS MA3501wfx runs at 35.

Getting one new on the Coast

A new ECOSYS MA4000fx from us carries Kyocera's own warranty, and delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team are covered in the price. We deliver from Ormeau and Yatala down to Coolangatta and Tweed Heads, and in the high rise towers of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach we fit delivery around the building's lift and loading bay bookings.

Outright purchase, rental, a lease or other finance all work, with anything financed subject to approval, and some businesses pay by the page under a managed print agreement. With our service agreement in place, a machine that fails is replaced for as long as the agreement runs, and weekly rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Kyocera ECOSYS MA4000fx: questions and answers

Can I order the Kyocera ECOSYS MA4000fx new?

Yes. We supply it new with Kyocera's warranty, and delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team are included.

What workload is the ECOSYS MA4000fx designed for?

Kyocera recommends keeping it within 2,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 80,000 in a single month.

Is the ECOSYS MA4500fx a better choice than the ECOSYS MA4000fx?

Both come from the same family. The ECOSYS MA4000fx prints 40 pages a minute, while the ECOSYS MA4500fx prints 45, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.

Can my business rent the ECOSYS MA4000fx?

Yes, subject to approval. Rental is one regular payment under a business agreement running for three to five years, and at the end you upgrade to a newer machine or hand it back. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
