In plain terms

Within Lexmark's CX94x series, the CX942adse (released 2022) is the option at 45 pages a minute. Lexmark built the same family at other speeds too: CX943adtse (55), CX943adxse (55) and CX944adxse (65), in pages a minute. Useful to know: it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 73.5 images a minute, has room for 1,140 sheets (or 5,140 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. Lexmark Australia still has it in the current lineup.

The right size of business

As a rough guide, it is sized for a workplace where fifteen to thirty people share one machine. Lexmark's recommended monthly volume is up to 50,000 pages. For more people on the one machine, look at the CX943adtse, the next step up at 55 pages a minute.

Getting one new on the Coast

Ordered new, the CX942adse reaches your business with the maker's warranty and with delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team already in the price. Most machines are installed within about a week of signing; if this one has to be ordered in, you hear the timing before you sign.

Outright purchase, rental, a lease or other finance all work, with anything financed subject to approval, and some businesses pay by the page under a managed print agreement. With our service agreement in place, a machine that fails is replaced for as long as the agreement runs, and weekly rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Lexmark CX942adse: questions and answers

Can you supply a new Lexmark CX942adse on the Gold Coast?

It can. A new one carries Lexmark's warranty, and delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team come as part of the price.

What workload is the CX942adse designed for?

Lexmark recommends keeping it within 50,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 200,000 in a single month.

Is the CX943adtse a better choice than the CX942adse?

Both come from the same family. The CX942adse prints 45 pages a minute, while the CX943adtse prints 55, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.

Can my business rent the CX942adse?

Yes, subject to approval. Rental is one regular payment under a business agreement running for three to five years, and at the end you upgrade to a newer machine or hand it back. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
