For a team that copies, prints and scans in colour, and sometimes reaches for A3, here is a machine worth weighing up. One to consider is the Konica Minolta bizhub C450i, an A3 colour photocopier that Konica Minolta rates at 45 pages a minute. Secondhand, it comes renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one, and you have its page count in writing before you sign.
Maker's own photoWithin Konica Minolta's bizhub C450i to C650i range, the bizhub C450i is the option at 45 pages a minute. Sister models and their A4 speeds: bizhub C550i (55) and bizhub C650i (65). According to Konica Minolta, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 140 images a minute, has room for 1,150 sheets (or 6,650 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. In Konica Minolta's range it has given way to the bizhub C451i.
bizhub C450i, 45 pages a minute in colour: checked, graded and looked after by us.
As published by the maker. Each one is checked over, and you see its page count before you commit.
It makes most sense for a workplace where fifteen to thirty people share one machine. Konica Minolta's recommended monthly volume is up to 40,000 pages. Expecting more staff? The same family's bizhub C550i lifts the speed to 55 pages a minute.
A secondhand bizhub C450i comes in one of three grades. Renewed is the top grade, with more parts replaced so it looks and runs close to new, and it costs more than refurbished. Refurbished, the most popular, is cleaned, serviced and tested, with its worn parts replaced. Used is checked and working with less work done, for the lowest outlay. Rental, a lease or finance can run for as long as 60 months if the machine's age allows, or you can buy outright. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team are in the price.
Bought outright without a service agreement, its warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you in writing what it is before the sale. With a service agreement, it is replaced if it fails, for the whole term. The lowest weekly rental, from $15 a week plus GST, is for selected machines, subject to approval.
Every one has a page of the maker's specifications. Ask about any and we will check what is available.
Describe the work the machine has to do, or name the model you want. We will come back with two or three that suit, each priced in writing, and the decision stays with you.

Tell us a little about your business. The reply, in writing, says if one is on hand, how many pages it has printed and what it costs. Every Gold Coast enquiry gets an answer the same business day it arrives.
Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.
The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.
No. Its replacement from Konica Minolta is the bizhub C451i, so secondhand is now the way to get one, and every one we sell, we can service.
Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.
Konica Minolta recommends keeping it within 40,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 200,000 in a single month.
Both come from the same family. The bizhub C450i prints 45 pages a minute, while the bizhub C550i prints 55, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.
