In plain terms

Lexmark placed the CX922de (a 2017 model) in its CX92x series, as the model that prints 45 pages a minute. Sister models and their A4 speeds: CX920de (25), CX921de (35), CX923dte (55), CX923dxe (55) and CX924dxe (65). From the maker's own figures, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 80 images a minute, has room for 1,150 sheets (or 6,650 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm.

Is it the right fit for your team?

Its natural home: a workplace where fifteen to thirty people share one machine. Lexmark's guide is to keep it under 50,000 pages a month. Expecting more staff? The same family's CX923dte lifts the speed to 55 pages a minute. For a quieter office, the CX921de runs at 35.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

Secondhand, the CX922de comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

A secondhand machine on our service agreement has the same replacement warranty as a new one: if it fails, we replace it, for the full term. Approved rentals on the selected machines that qualify are priced from $15 a week plus GST.

Before you commit to a secondhand one

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Common queries on the Lexmark CX922de

How many pages will a secondhand CX922de have done?

Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.

What workload is the CX922de designed for?

Lexmark recommends keeping it within 50,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 225,000 in a single month.

Is the CX923dte a better choice than the CX922de?

It comes down to your workload. At 45 pages a minute against 55, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.

Can my business rent the CX922de?

Yes, subject to approval. Rental is one regular payment under a business agreement running for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months, and at the end you upgrade to a newer machine or hand it back. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
