The right size of business

It makes most sense for thirty or more people, or a print room that runs much of the day. Plan on no more than 53,000 pages a month, which is the volume Konica Minolta recommends. For a quieter office, the bizhub C550i runs at 55.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

Secondhand, the bizhub C650i comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

Bought outright without a service agreement, its warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you in writing what it is before the sale. With a service agreement, it is replaced if it fails, for the whole term. The lowest weekly rental, from $15 a week plus GST, is for selected machines, subject to approval.

Before you commit to a secondhand one

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

What buyers want to know: Konica Minolta bizhub C650i

Can the bizhub C650i still be bought new?

Not any more: the bizhub C651i took over in Konica Minolta's range. A secondhand one from us is checked, graded and serviced by our own team.

Is there a way to judge the wear on a secondhand bizhub C650i?

Yes: the page count. We put it in writing before you commit, and it is a truer guide to wear than age alone.

How many pages a month should the bizhub C650i handle?

Konica Minolta recommends keeping it within 53,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 250,000 in a single month.

How do I decide between the bizhub C650i and the bizhub C550i?

It comes down to your workload. At 65 pages a minute against 55, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.
