What you are getting

Sharp placed the BP 70C65 in its BP 70C31 to BP 70C65 series, as the model that prints 65 pages a minute. Sharp built the same family at other speeds too: BP 70C31 (31), BP 70C36 (36), BP 70C45 (45) and BP 70C55 (55), in pages a minute. According to Sharp, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 140 images a minute, has room for 650 sheets (or 6,300 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm.

Is it the right fit for your team?

Its natural home: thirty or more people, or a print room that runs much of the day. If your team prints less, compare it with the BP 70C55, which manages 55 pages a minute.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

A secondhand BP 70C65 comes in one of three grades. Renewed is the top grade, with more parts replaced so it looks and runs close to new, and it costs more than refurbished. Refurbished, the most popular, is cleaned, serviced and tested, with its worn parts replaced. Used is checked and working with less work done, for the lowest outlay. Rental, a lease or finance can run for as long as 60 months if the machine's age allows, or you can buy outright. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team are in the price.

We only sell machines we can service, so every secondhand BP 70C65 we supply can go straight onto a service agreement, with toner, parts and repairs at a set cost per page and a replacement if it fails. Rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST, approval permitting.

Before you commit to a secondhand one

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Common queries on the Sharp BP 70C65

How many pages will a secondhand BP 70C65 have done?

Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.

Is the BP 70C55 a better choice than the BP 70C65?

It comes down to your workload. At 65 pages a minute against 55, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.

Can my business rent the BP 70C65?

Yes, subject to approval. Rental is one regular payment under a business agreement running for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months, and at the end you upgrade to a newer machine or hand it back. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
