Secondhand Sharp MX 2651 on the Gold Coast

Think of the agency printing A3 property brochures, or the builder printing plans in colour: that is the work this machine is for. Sharp's MX 2651 fits that brief: an A3 colour photocopier with an A4 speed of 26 pages a minute. You can have it renewed, close to new; refurbished, the grade most customers choose; or used, for the lowest outlay. Whichever it is, the page count comes in writing first.

  • Up to 26 pages a minute on A4
  • Copies, prints and scans, A3 colour
  • Secondhand: renewed, refurbished, used
  • Replacement warranty with our service agreement

In plain terms

Within Sharp's MX 2651 to MX 6051 Essentials series, the MX 2651 (a 2018 model) is the option at 26 pages a minute. Sharp built the same family at other speeds too: MX 3051 (30), MX 3551 (35), MX 4051 (40), MX 5051 (50) and MX 6051 (60), in pages a minute. Useful to know: it has a scanning speed of 80 images a minute, has room for 650 sheets (or 6,300 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm.

The right size of business

Its natural home: an office of somewhere between five and fifteen staff. If the business is growing, the MX 3051 gives you 30 pages a minute in the same family.

Secondhand grades and how to pay

Choose a renewed MX 2651 if you want one that runs close to new, refurbished for the balance most customers pick, or used to keep the outlay down. Every unit is checked first, with the page count in writing. Pay outright, or rent, lease or finance it over a term that can reach 60 months on a younger machine. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team come with it, wherever you are on the Coast.

Bought outright without a service agreement, its warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you in writing what it is before the sale. With a service agreement, it is replaced if it fails, for the whole term. The lowest weekly rental, from $15 a week plus GST, is for selected machines, subject to approval.

Four things to ask about a secondhand machine

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Common queries on the Sharp MX 2651

How many pages will a secondhand MX 2651 have done?

Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.

Is the MX 3051 a better choice than the MX 2651?

Both come from the same family. The MX 2651 prints 26 pages a minute, while the MX 3051 prints 30, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.

Can my business rent the MX 2651?

Yes, subject to approval. Rental is one regular payment under a business agreement running for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months, and at the end you upgrade to a newer machine or hand it back. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
