Secondhand Sharp MX 6071 on the Gold Coast

Think of the agency printing A3 property brochures, or the builder printing plans in colour: that is the work this machine is for. Sharp's MX 6071 fits that brief: an A3 colour photocopier with an A4 speed of 60 pages a minute. You can have it renewed, close to new; refurbished, the grade most customers choose; or used, for the lowest outlay. Whichever it is, the page count comes in writing first.

  • Up to 60 pages a minute on A4
  • Copies, prints and scans, A3 colour
  • Secondhand: renewed, refurbished, used
  • Replacement warranty with our service agreement

The model itself

Within Sharp's MX 3071 series, the MX 6071 is the option at 60 pages a minute. Sister models and their A4 speeds: MX 3071 (30), MX 3571 (35), MX 4071 (40) and MX 5071 (50). Useful to know: it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 110 images a minute, has room for 650 sheets (or 6,300 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm.

Where it fits best

It makes most sense for thirty or more people, or a print room that runs much of the day. If your team prints less, compare it with the MX 5071, which manages 50 pages a minute.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

Secondhand, the MX 6071 comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

Bought outright without a service agreement, its warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you in writing what it is before the sale. With a service agreement, it is replaced if it fails, for the whole term. The lowest weekly rental, from $15 a week plus GST, is for selected machines, subject to approval.

Before you commit to a secondhand one

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Sharp MX 6071: questions and answers

Is there a way to judge the wear on a secondhand MX 6071?

Yes: the page count. We put it in writing before you commit, and it is a truer guide to wear than age alone.

How do I decide between the MX 6071 and the MX 5071?

It comes down to your workload. At 60 pages a minute against 50, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.

Is rental an option on the MX 6071?

Usually, yes, subject to approval, for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months. Weekly rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST; the machine is serviced throughout. Rental is not hire, so there is no short booking to arrange. Ask about this model and we will put the figures in writing for you.
