Is it the right fit for your team?

Its natural home: thirty or more people, or a print room that runs much of the day. Konica Minolta's guide is to keep it under 53,000 pages a month. For a quieter office, the bizhub 550i runs at 55.

Secondhand grades and how to pay

Secondhand, the bizhub 650i comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

We only sell machines we can service, so every secondhand bizhub 650i we supply can go straight onto a service agreement, with toner, parts and repairs at a set cost per page and a replacement if it fails. Rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST, approval permitting.

Questions worth asking first

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

What buyers want to know: Konica Minolta bizhub 650i

Is a new bizhub 650i still available?

No. Its replacement from Konica Minolta is the bizhub 651i, so secondhand is now the way to get one, and every one we sell, we can service.

How many pages will a secondhand bizhub 650i have done?

Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.

What workload is the bizhub 650i designed for?

Konica Minolta recommends keeping it within 53,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 300,000 in a single month.

Is the bizhub 550i a better choice than the bizhub 650i?

Both come from the same family. The bizhub 650i prints 65 pages a minute, while the bizhub 550i prints 55, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.
