You can have it renewed, close to new; refurbished, the grade most customers choose; or used, for the lowest outlay. Whichever it is, the page count comes in writing first.

What you are getting

Of the speeds in Konica Minolta's bizhub 300i to 750i range, the bizhub 360i is the one that does 36 pages a minute. Its stablemates, each with its pages a minute: bizhub 300i (30), bizhub 450i (45), bizhub 550i (55) and bizhub 650i (65). From the maker's own figures, it needs the optional single pass document feeder to scan at its top speed of 100 images a minute, has room for 1,150 sheets (or 6,650 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. Konica Minolta has since brought out the bizhub 361i to replace it.

The right size of business

It makes most sense for a workplace where fifteen to thirty people share one machine. Plan on no more than 33,000 pages a month, which is the volume Konica Minolta recommends. If the business is growing, the bizhub 450i gives you 45 pages a minute in the same family. If your team prints less, compare it with the bizhub 300i, which manages 30 pages a minute.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

Secondhand, the bizhub 360i comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

A secondhand machine on our service agreement has the same replacement warranty as a new one: if it fails, we replace it, for the full term. Approved rentals on the selected machines that qualify are priced from $15 a week plus GST.

Four things to ask about a secondhand machine

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Konica Minolta bizhub 360i: questions and answers

Can the bizhub 360i still be bought new?

Not any more: the bizhub 361i took over in Konica Minolta's range. A secondhand one from us is checked, graded and serviced by our own team.

Is there a way to judge the wear on a secondhand bizhub 360i?

Yes: the page count. We put it in writing before you commit, and it is a truer guide to wear than age alone.

How many pages a month should the bizhub 360i handle?

Konica Minolta recommends keeping it within 33,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 175,000 in a single month.

How do I decide between the bizhub 360i and the bizhub 450i?

It comes down to your workload. At 36 pages a minute against 45, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.
