The model itself

Lexmark placed the CX930dse (released 2022) in its CX93x series, as the model that prints 25 pages a minute. Its single stablemate is the CX931dse, which does 35 pages a minute. From the maker's own figures, it has a scanning speed of 55 images a minute, has room for 620 sheets (or 5,140 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 256 gsm.

An A3 colour photocopier for Gold Coast workplaces, at 25 pages a minute, in three secondhand grades.

The right size of business

Its natural home: a business with a handful of staff, five or fewer. Lexmark's guide is to keep it under 20,000 pages a month. If the business is growing, the CX931dse gives you 35 pages a minute in the same family.

How we supply it secondhand

Secondhand, the CX930dse comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

A secondhand machine on our service agreement has the same replacement warranty as a new one: if it fails, we replace it, for the full term. Approved rentals on the selected machines that qualify are priced from $15 a week plus GST.

Four things to ask about a secondhand machine

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

What buyers want to know: Lexmark CX930dse

Is there a way to judge the wear on a secondhand CX930dse?

Yes: the page count. We put it in writing before you commit, and it is a truer guide to wear than age alone.

How many pages a month should the CX930dse handle?

Lexmark recommends keeping it within 20,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 100,000 in a single month.

How do I decide between the CX930dse and the CX931dse?

Both come from the same family. The CX930dse prints 25 pages a minute, while the CX931dse prints 35, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.

Is rental an option on the CX930dse?

Usually, yes, subject to approval, for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months. Weekly rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST; the machine is serviced throughout. Rental is not hire, so there is no short booking to arrange. Ask about this model and we will put the figures in writing for you.
