The model itself

Kyocera placed the TASKalfa 2552ci in its TASKalfa 2552ci series, as the model that prints 25 pages a minute. Its stablemates, each with its pages a minute: TASKalfa 3252ci (32), TASKalfa 4052ci (40), TASKalfa 5052ci (50) and TASKalfa 6052ci (60). According to Kyocera, it needs the optional single pass document feeder to scan at its top speed of 80 images a minute, has room for 1,150 sheets (or 7,150 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. Kyocera has since brought out the TASKalfa 2553ci to replace it.

An A3 colour photocopier for Gold Coast workplaces, at 25 pages a minute, in three secondhand grades.

Where it fits best

It makes most sense for a business with a handful of staff, five or fewer. For more people on the one machine, look at the TASKalfa 3252ci, the next step up at 32 pages a minute.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

Choose a renewed TASKalfa 2552ci if you want one that runs close to new, refurbished for the balance most customers pick, or used to keep the outlay down. Every unit is checked first, with the page count in writing. Pay outright, or rent, lease or finance it over a term that can reach 60 months on a younger machine. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team come with it, wherever you are on the Coast.

We only sell machines we can service, so every secondhand TASKalfa 2552ci we supply can go straight onto a service agreement, with toner, parts and repairs at a set cost per page and a replacement if it fails. Rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST, approval permitting.

Before you commit to a secondhand one

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Common queries on the Kyocera TASKalfa 2552ci

Can the TASKalfa 2552ci still be bought new?

Not any more: the TASKalfa 2553ci took over in Kyocera's range. A secondhand one from us is checked, graded and serviced by our own team.

Is there a way to judge the wear on a secondhand TASKalfa 2552ci?

Yes: the page count. We put it in writing before you commit, and it is a truer guide to wear than age alone.

How do I decide between the TASKalfa 2552ci and the TASKalfa 3252ci?

Both come from the same family. The TASKalfa 2552ci prints 25 pages a minute, while the TASKalfa 3252ci prints 32, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.

Is rental an option on the TASKalfa 2552ci?

Usually, yes, subject to approval, for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months. Weekly rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST; the machine is serviced throughout. Rental is not hire, so there is no short booking to arrange. Ask about this model and we will put the figures in writing for you.
