The model itself

Of the speeds in Konica Minolta's bizhub C258 to C368 range, the bizhub C368 is the one that does 36 pages a minute. Konica Minolta built the same family at other speeds too: bizhub C258 (25) and bizhub C308 (30), in pages a minute. According to Konica Minolta, it needs the optional single pass document feeder to scan at its top speed of 80 images a minute, has room for 1,150 sheets (or 6,650 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 300 gsm. The model that came after it is the bizhub C360i.

Is it the right fit for your team?

Its natural home: a workplace where fifteen to thirty people share one machine. Konica Minolta's guide is to keep it under 25,000 pages a month. For a quieter office, the bizhub C308 runs at 30.

How we supply it secondhand

Secondhand, the bizhub C368 comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

A secondhand machine on our service agreement has the same replacement warranty as a new one: if it fails, we replace it, for the full term. Approved rentals on the selected machines that qualify are priced from $15 a week plus GST.

Four things to ask about a secondhand machine

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Konica Minolta bizhub C368: questions and answers

Is a new bizhub C368 still available?

No. Its replacement from Konica Minolta is the bizhub C360i, so secondhand is now the way to get one, and every one we sell, we can service.

How many pages will a secondhand bizhub C368 have done?

Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.

What workload is the bizhub C368 designed for?

Konica Minolta recommends keeping it within 25,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 125,000 in a single month.

Is the bizhub C308 a better choice than the bizhub C368?

Both come from the same family. The bizhub C368 prints 36 pages a minute, while the bizhub C308 prints 30, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.
