In plain terms

Of the speeds in Konica Minolta's bizhub 227 to 367 range, the bizhub 287 is the one that does 28 pages a minute. Its stablemates, each with its pages a minute: bizhub 227 (22) and bizhub 367 (36). According to Konica Minolta, it needs the optional document feeder to scan at its top speed of 45 images a minute and has room for 1,100 sheets (or 3,600 with extra paper options).

An A3 mono photocopier for Gold Coast workplaces, at 28 pages a minute, in three secondhand grades.

Is it the right fit for your team?

Its natural home: an office of somewhere between five and fifteen staff. Plan on no more than 13,000 pages a month, which is the volume Konica Minolta recommends. For more people on the one machine, look at the bizhub 367, the next step up at 36 pages a minute. If your team prints less, compare it with the bizhub 227, which manages 22 pages a minute.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

Secondhand, the bizhub 287 comes in whichever grade suits your budget: renewed, refurbished or used. We check each one and give you its page count in writing. Rental or finance terms stretch to 60 months where the machine's age allows, and buying outright is always an option. The price covers delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team.

Bought outright without a service agreement, its warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you in writing what it is before the sale. With a service agreement, it is replaced if it fails, for the whole term. The lowest weekly rental, from $15 a week plus GST, is for selected machines, subject to approval.

Before you commit to a secondhand one

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

Common queries on the Konica Minolta bizhub 287

How many pages will a secondhand bizhub 287 have done?

Every machine is different, so you get its exact page count in writing before you buy. That number says far more about wear than the year it was built.

What workload is the bizhub 287 designed for?

Konica Minolta recommends keeping it within 13,000 pages a month; the rated ceiling is 28,000 in a single month.

Is the bizhub 367 a better choice than the bizhub 287?

Both come from the same family. The bizhub 287 prints 28 pages a minute, while the bizhub 367 prints 36, so the real question is how many people will share the machine. Give us that number and we will point you to one.

Can my business rent the bizhub 287?

Yes, subject to approval. Rental is one regular payment under a business agreement running for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months, and at the end you upgrade to a newer machine or hand it back. Selected machines can be rented from $15 a week plus GST.
