Secondhand Fujifilm Apeos 3060 on the Gold Coast

What you are getting

Of the speeds in Fujifilm's Apeos 3560 / 3060 / 2560 range, the Apeos 3060 is the one that does 30 pages a minute. Its stablemates, each with its pages a minute: Apeos 2560 (25) and Apeos 3560 (35). From the maker's own figures, it reads both sides of a double sided original in one pass, at as many as 55 images a minute, has room for 596 sheets (or 2,096 with extra paper options) and copes with card stock to 256 gsm.

Where it fits best

Its natural home: an office of somewhere between five and fifteen staff. For more people on the one machine, look at the Apeos 3560, the next step up at 35 pages a minute. If your team prints less, compare it with the Apeos 2560, which manages 25 pages a minute.

Picking a grade, then a way to pay

Choose a renewed Apeos 3060 if you want one that runs close to new, refurbished for the balance most customers pick, or used to keep the outlay down. Every unit is checked first, with the page count in writing. Pay outright, or rent, lease or finance it over a term that can reach 60 months on a younger machine. Delivery, setup on your network, scanning setup and a run through for your team come with it, wherever you are on the Coast.

Bought outright without a service agreement, its warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you in writing what it is before the sale. With a service agreement, it is replaced if it fails, for the whole term. The lowest weekly rental, from $15 a week plus GST, is for selected machines, subject to approval.

Before you commit to a secondhand one

  • The page count. Ask for it in writing; we give it before you sign. Pages printed tell you more about wear than the year a machine was made.
  • The options on it. Find out what is attached, such as a stapling finisher, more paper drawers or a high capacity feeder. Each one changes the jobs it suits and the figure you pay.
  • Who looks after it. A machine nobody can repair is no bargain, however little it costs. We only sell what we can service ourselves, everywhere we deliver.
  • The running cost. Have the black and white and colour page rates put in writing, along with what each rate includes.

Replacement warranty

A machine that fails is replaced. Through to the final month.

Any machine we look after on a service agreement comes under our replacement warranty, whatever its age and however you paid for it. Rented, leased, financed or bought outright, new or secondhand: if it fails, we replace it. Cover runs for the whole term of the agreement, through to its final month.

The maker's warranty on a new copier normally lasts 12 months and takes in the hardware; consumables are not part of it. Past that first year, your protection comes from the service agreement. Every detail of the replacement warranty is set down in your agreement.

Asked often

What buyers want to know: Fujifilm Apeos 3060

Is there a way to judge the wear on a secondhand Apeos 3060?

Yes: the page count. We put it in writing before you commit, and it is a truer guide to wear than age alone.

How do I decide between the Apeos 3060 and the Apeos 3560?

It comes down to your workload. At 30 pages a minute against 35, the two suit different team sizes; send a headcount and a rough monthly page count and we will recommend the better fit.

Is rental an option on the Apeos 3060?

Usually, yes, subject to approval, for a term the machine's age allows, up to 60 months. Weekly rental on selected machines is from $15 a week plus GST; the machine is serviced throughout. Rental is not hire, so there is no short booking to arrange. Ask about this model and we will put the figures in writing for you.
